REHABILITATION NETWORK PROVIDER
Dr. Brian Tababa graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Seton Hall University. Dr. Tababa has experience in outpatient orthopedic, sub-acute and hospital-based rehabilitation settings. Brian also has martial arts experience and is an instructor in Union, New Jersey. He attributes his knowledge on human movement, correct body mechanics and injury prevention to his background in Physical Therapy and martial arts. Brian strives to make every patient interaction individualized and professional in order to provide the best patient care possible. Dr. Tababa also strives to use his past experiences and the most current research to help patients achieve their goals.
Dr. Jamie McLean graduated magna cum laude from Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. Jamie went onto attend graduate school at Sacred Heart University where she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and graduated with honors. Dr. McLean has experience in the settings of orthopedic outpatient, neurological outpatient, and acute care inpatient. She also has experience in vestibular and concussion therapy. Jamie is currently a certified LSVT Big provider for individuals with Parkinson’s disease. Jamie enjoys learning new skills, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her fiancé.
Travis Franz received his Master’s degree from Missouri State University in 2017 after receiving his Bachelors in Biology from High Point University in North Carolina. Travis has already experienced various settings in occupational therapy including: acute care, home health, outpatient therapy, orthopedics, pediatric brain injuries, and school therapy. His interests lie in assisting people overcome obstacles and has always wanted to pursue a career path in the medical field in order to help those in need. Travis has an interest in supporting patients who are undergoing slow recoveries, where victories are measured in very small increments.
Barbara received her bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Utica College in Utica, NY, and her Masters of Science degree in Occupational Therapy, with an emphasis in Hand Therapy from Temple University in Philadelphia. She earned her hand therapy certification from the American Society of Hand Therapists as a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) in 1992, and has worked in Hand Therapy in a number of facilities in central New Jersey since that time. She is certified by the National Board of Occupational Therapists and is a member of the American Society of Hand Therapists, the American Occupational Therapy Association, the New Jersey Occupational Therapy Association, and the Hand Therapy Certification Commission. She has extensive knowledge, and skill, in splinting the hand, wrist, and forearm, while completing static, dynamic, and static progressive splinting. Treatment of the pediatric hand, for the purpose of handwriting, is another area of particular interest to Barbara. Lastly, she is astute at implementing ergonomic modifications to a person’s work and home environment, to help return the individual to an independent level of function.
