Received both her Bachelor’s degree in health science studies and Master’s degree in Occupational therapy at Quinnipiac University. Nicole has worked in both hospital based and private orthopedic clinics with a focus on orthopedic and neurological treatment of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand. Throughout her years as a therapist, she developed a strong passion for the treatment of hands and decided to specialize in this field. Nicole is an ASTYM certified clinician and enjoys creating custom splints and working closely with her patients on their recovery. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys travel, cooking, music and spending time with friends. family and her dog.

Michele Pasqualetto, BS, MOT, OTR/L, CHT, has been practicing in the specialty of upper extremity rehabilitation for over 19 years. Her focus and specialty is in rehabilitation of the hand and upper extremity injuries and disorders. Michele has a special interest in the treatment of both adults and children with Erb’s Palsy / Brachial Plexus Injuries. Michele earned her specialization as a Certified Hand Therapist CHT in 2007 after working at both Beth Israel Medical Center and NYU Langone’s Hospital for Joint Diseases (RUSK Rehabilitation), and training with some of the most highly regarded hand therapists, orthopedic and plastic surgeons in the country. Michele has been published in the Hand Journal and has co-authored a chapter in the Hand Clinics book on Intrinsics of the Hand. She is a seasoned speaker who has been invited to speak both nationally and internationally and teaches as an adjunct professor at Touro and Hunter College. Michele, along with her colleagues, sponsor the Annual Lorna Ramos Conference on the Treatment and Management of Brachial Plexus Injuries to educate other therapists, physicians and health care providers in the treatment and management of Brachial Plexus, hand and nerve injuries. Michele’s vision for Hand Therapy NYC is to provide specialized, high quality and professional rehabilitation services with a personal touch that is currently missing from larger institutions. One on one attention during every session is a priority for the patient recovering from an injury and getting them back to doing what they love and life live hands-on!
Preston W Lockwood, MS, OTR/L, studied occupational therapy at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and is currently pursuing a clinical Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD) from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. While pursuing his Master’s of Science, Preston gained additional clinical experience with the advisement of individuals from the Philadelphia Hand Center, University of Illinois Chicago, Rush University Medical Center, and the Mayo Clinic. Prior to relocating to NYC in July 2017, Preston practiced closely with orthopedic and hand surgeons throughout the Chicago Metro area, including Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush and Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Preston has gained significant interest and passion for treatment of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand, and is excited to be providing care and learning along side the exceptional team at Hand Therapy NYC.
