We focus on exclusively one-on-one patient care. Each session is with the same therapist, and is personalized to the patient’s progression and current presentation.
Dr. Vitaly Dvoskin is a licensed physical therapist in New York, New Jersey and California. He received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University and completed his Baccalaureate Degree in Health and Exercise Science with a Minor in Coaching at Syracuse University. Dr. Vitaly’s concentration is within orthopedic and sports medicine, with an emphasis on functional manual therapy. His post-doctorate work has been in advanced manual and orthopedic medicine, as taught by the renowned Institute of Physical Arts, where he is training to become a Certified Functional Manual Therapist (CFMT). Additionally, Dr. Vitaly has completed classes through the Maitland-Australian Approach, Great Lake Seminars, The McKenzie Institute, Integrative Manual Therapy Solutions and The Harkness Center For Dance at NYU. The human body’s ability to transform and adapt at different stages of our lives – is the driving factor behind Dr. Vitaly’s passion for promoting rehabilitation. He is a strong advocate of postural and body mechanic reeducation and training, using those gains to enhance overall movement, performance and quality of living. Keen awareness of the human body, from both personal and clinical experience, has allowed him to understand and manage chronic pain, lower back and sacral-pelvic dysfunction, shoulder pathologies and impairments of the lower extremities. Constantly on the forefront of research and continuing education, Dr. Vitaly is always striving for excellence in the way he does his work. Currently, he is the Company Physical Therapist for Avenue Q- The Musical and has assisted with STOMP (off Broadway) and Spider Man- Turn Off The Dark (Broadway). Additionally, Dr. Vitaly has been working with the High School Division of Grace Church School: overseeing games, coordinating with the athletic department on safety and injury prevention for the student body. When he’s not busy working, Dr. Vitaly enjoys taking advantage of this amazing City that he calls home.
