Alec was born and raised in Miami, FL where he grew up on the baseball diamond and soccer pitch which contributed to his passion for the field of physical therapy. After sustaining multiple knee injuries which required months of rehab, like many, Alec decided to pursue a career in rehabilitation. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biology and returned to Miami to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Florida International University. While attending PT school, Alec returned to his alma mater, Ransom Everglades, to become the Varsity baseball pitching/ infield coach while also becoming an assistant soccer coach and middle school football coach during their respective seasons. During PT school, Alec also received his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and furthered his knowledge of working with athletes while taking a clinical rotation with the Cleveland Indians. Alec has an interest in outpatient sports orthopedics and wishes to help athletes of all ages return to what they love to do, just like the may physical therapists who helped him return to the field when he was younger. Outside of the clinic, Alec can be found playing soccer, hanging out with friends, watching sports or somewhere on the water.
