Lauren Macera

PHYSICAL THERAPIST BIO

Clinic Director Dr. Lauren Bachand, PT, DPT, MTC, has worked with Performance Physical Therapy since 2015 and is now the clinic director and a physical therapist at our Attleboro location. After earning her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at URI, she went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy there as well. While attending URI, she participated in their URI Broadening experience and traveled to Guatemala twice to help rehabilitate adults and children with various neurological disabilities. Since graduating she has earned a manual therapy certification from Evidence in Motion and has been certified in dry needling. She has expertise in orthopedics, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, balance disorders and injury prevention, as well as in working with pediatric patients.

Brendan Boyle

PHYSICAL THERAPIST BIO

Brendan Boyle, DPT, has worked with Performance Physical Therapy since 2016 as a physical therapist at the Pawtucket location. He received an undergraduate degree in Biology from Brown University and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Rhode Island. While at URI, he received the Physical Therapy Department's Academic Excellence Award and presented on his research at the 10th Annual URI Graduate Student Conference. He has volunteer physical therapy experience at Isokinetic in Italy and is a member of American Physical Therapy Association's Orthopedic Section. Boyle specializes in post-surgical orthopedics and sports injuries, and in working with long-distance and track and field runners and endurance athletes, and is on the Clinical Standards Committee at Performance Physical Therapy.

Reid Holden

PHYSICAL THERAPIST BIO

Reid Holden, DPT joined Performance in 2019 as a physical therapist at our Attleboro location. Dr. Holden earned his BS in Health Science in 2016 and went on to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2019, both from Quinnipiac University. While earning his degree, Dr. Holden provided free physical therapy services to the greater New Haven area. Through his time treating, he gained a true passion for sports rehabilitation and orthopedics. After playing sports his entire life, Dr. Holden attended physical therapy to get him back on the field after some major injuries. His personal experiences at physical therapy, and his love for working with people, motivated him to become a physical therapist to help people do what they love. In his free time, Dr. Holden plays in local men's hockey leagues and loves spending his spare time relaxing at the lake.
