William Peters is the director and founder of PSPPT. His previous experience includes providing physical therapy services to patients at one of Long Island’s most prestigious medical organizations, ProHealth Care Associates. He has worked for the NY Jets rehabbing and preventing sports related injuries; has successfully consulted with the NY Liberty of the W.N.B.A. in developing an injury prevention program and has conducted metabolic testing for the NY Islanders. William has gained valuable experience working as an Athletic Trainer at Columbia University; as a research assistant at the Harkness Center for Dance Injuries at the Hospital for Joint Diseases in NYC and has toured with professional dancer/actor, Ben Vereen. He serves as an on-call physical therapist for the US Open Tennis Tournament and has provided event coverage at the NY City Marathon.
Courtney Prezioso joined PSPT in September of 2015, bringing her vast knowledge and expertise to our practice. Her experience as a clinical instructor, her passion for learning, and her extensive continuing education has allowed her to excel in providing hands-on physical therapy to her patients. She received her PT degree from Quinnipiac University in 2010 and has since gained an abundance of experience in the outpatient, inpatient, and homecare physical therapy settings. Courtney is currently studying at the McKenzie Institute USA, working towards her Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy Certification. She is also taking courses towards a specialty in Vestibular Rehabilitation, and is studying for her Yoga Instructor Certification. She is trained in Zheng Gu Tui Na and Qi gong, a form of Chinese massage and manipulation. Courtney's passion for her patient's well being, thirst for knowledge, and well-rounded experience enables her to provide the upmost in care to patients of all ages.
