Marissa Muccio graduated University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 98' with a BS in Physical Therapy, working a wide variety of pediatric settings including: NICU units, neuromuscular teams, cranial facial , pediatric oncology, general pediatric in-patient hospital, out-patient clinic for neurological and orthopedic conditions, Aquatics, Early Intervention and home care. As an APTA certified clinical instructor, she has provided comprehensive pediatric affiliations for PT doctoral students. In 2005 she acquired advanced certification in Neuro-Developmental Treatment for Pediatrics. In 2011 she became one of the first C2 level certified therapists in the US for the 3 dimensional treatment of scoliosis via the Barcelona Scoliosis Physiotherapy School. She now leads the largest Scoliosis Specialty Centers in the US and is committed to expanding the research for scoliosis specific exercises. Memberships past and present include: APTA, APTANJ, NDTA, SOSORT and SRS.

Rebecca graduated from Rutgers University (formally The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey) with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Prior to her graduate studies, Rebecca earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Ramapo College of New Jersey. Since graduating in 2014, Rebecca joined PRNY as a full time staff. She has provided for both pediatric and adult patients in a range of settings including school based, early intervention, outpatient, aquatics, and acute care. She has obtained her certification in C1 and C2 Schroth based scoliosis specific exercises from the Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School (BSPTS). She is also SEAS Level 1 certified in scoliosis specific exercise through Isituto Scientifico Italiano Colonna Vertebrale (ISICO). Rebecca had the opportunity to travel to Rosenheim, Germany in April 2016 to attend the Ortholutions RSC Brace Seminar and Workshop with Dr. Manuel Rigo. She has conducted research on scoliosis specific exercise as treatment through pregnancy utilizing the DIERS surface topography scanner to monitor progression and will be presenting a case study poster on this topic at SOSORT 2019. Rebecca uses her passion for aquatics to teach adaptive swim lessons to children with special needs. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time on the lake where she resides.
Mary Ellen Moore graduated with her clinical doctorate degree in physical therapy from University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ in 2009. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings with children and adults including sub-acute, school based, EIP, pediatric developmental and orthopedic outpatient. Her training includes kinesiotaping and pediatric sports. Since beginning with PRNY in 2011, she has developed a passion for treating patients with scoliosis. She holds a C2 certification in 3-Dimensional treatment of scoliosis from the Barcelona Scoliosis Physiotherapy School. Mary Ellen has recently co-developed and co-instructed an elective course on the physical therapist’s new role in the treatment of scoliosis for the DPT students of Rutger’s University. Mary Ellen currently resides in Cranford, New Jersey. She enjoys hiking, biking, and adventuring outdoors with her husband.

Jodi Weitner attended Ithaca College and received her Master of Science in Physical Therapy (MSPT) in 2001. After working for two years in the pediatric setting, she participated in the post-graduate program at Drexel University, graduating with her clinical doctoral degree (DPT) in 2005. As part of her doctoral training, Jodi assisted in the development of a Fact Sheet for the APTA regarding Developmental Coordination Disorder (2006). Jodi has over ten years of experience working with children from zero to twenty-one years old in a variety of clinical settings including early intervention, school based physical therapy, aquatic therapy, and outpatient physical therapy. She has worked diligently to enhance her knowledge and skills by attending a variety of continuing education and professional development courses within her areas of interest. These include advanced NDT training, aquatic physical therapy and torticollis; she is also an APTA certified clinical instructor. Jodi recently (March 2015) attained her C1 certification for the three dimensional treatment of Scoliosis via the Barcelona Scoliosis Physiotherapy School. She has also taken several yoga continuing education courses, and is a candidate for certification in Professional Yoga Therapy (PYT). She hopes to complete this certification within the next year. She has been practicing yoga herself for the past three years, and has seen first-hand the physical and social-emotional benefits it provides. She hopes to incorporate this integrative and holistic approach into treatment with her clients, and is especially excited to combine her knowledge of Scoliosis with that of yoga to create Scoliosis specific yoga workshops and classes for PRNY. Jodi resides in northern NJ with her husband and two children.

Dr. Pancholi-Parekh completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy (MSPT) in 2001 and completed her post professional clinical doctorate degree (DPT) in 2005 both from Rutgers University, formerly known as UMDNJ, Newark NJ. She has provided for both pediatric and adult patients in a range of settings including, school based, EIP, outpatient, aquatics, acute care, sub-acute, and SNF. For over a decade she has worked with PRNY, rising to become a partner in 2009 and is currently the Vice-President and the Director of Physical therapy PRNY. Her professional development has included advanced NDT training, Sensory Integration training and in C1 and C2 Schroth based scoliosis specific exercises from the Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School (BSPTS). As a clinical instructor for Rutgers Doctoral PT program (North and South campus) and Quinnipiac University, she provides invaluable clinical experiences for doctoral students wishing to pursue pediatrics. Administratively, she developed and maintains the company's website, practice management and budgeting and provides lectures/in-services for professionals, physicians, and the community. She also serves as a lab assistant for the C1 certification for 3 Dimensional treatment of Scoliosis, BSPTS, for the classes held in the NYC/ Boston area. Dr. Pancholi-Parekh has also joined Shift Scoliosis as part of their Medical Advisory Board. Memberships past and present include: APTA, APTANJ, SOSORT, and pending completion of SRS application. She is happily married with 3 children and resides in northern NJ.

Dr. Mendez received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree (DPT) in May of 2013 from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey with the Academic Excellence Award. She has treated pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics with a wide range of conditions in inpatient acute rehab, school settings, early intervention, and outpatient. She is an author, lecturer and instructor for the Rutgers University School of Health Related Professions Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. In 2013 Melissa joined PRNY and has since achieved advanced certification in C1 and C2 Schroth based physiotherapeutic scoliosis specific exercises from the Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School (BSPTS) and became a Balance-Based Torso-Weighting Certified therapist, for the treatment of patients with various neurological/balance disorders. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and a member of the Society on Scoliosis Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Treatment (SOSORT). Melissa also holds her BFA undergraduate degree from Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers-New Brunswick with a concentration in Dance and was a choreographer and dance instructor.
