Mark grew up in Haddonfield, NJ, attended Haddonfield High School and went on to graduate from Saint Joseph's University with a degree in Interdisciplinary Health Services in 2015. He then completed the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Thomas Jefferson University in 2017. During his time at Jefferson, Mark completed a 10 week clinical rotation at Strive Physical Therapy in Marlton, where he discovered Strive's commitment to excellent clinical care and customer service. Mark is interested in treating patients with a wide variety of orthopedic diagnoses and sports injuries. His goal when treating patients is to provide them with compassionate, individualized care to help them return to the activities that they find most important. In the near future, Mark plans to complete a certification in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment as well as an Orthopedic Residency in order to further his education in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. In his free time, Mark enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and his dog, Nola. He also enjoys taking trips to the shore as well as playing golf and pick-up basketball games.

Barb Agurkis Barb graduated from Mercer County College’s Physical Therapist Assistant program in 2015. With a medical background as a veterinary technician working with race horses, her transfer to humans was easy. While practicing yoga, taking care of 4 athletic boys with injuries and a mother in her senior years, it was clear how physical therapy could help impact a patient’s daily function. Barb is certified in LSVT BIG therapy, working to help improve movement patterns for patients with Parkinson’s disease. She is excited to pursue her education in the McKenzie Method as well as the Graston techniques in the near future. Barb loves the variety of diagnoses in the outpatient population and the ability to work with different ages and different physical abilities. In her free time, she loves watching the Sixers, Flyers, and attends yoga classes whenever possible.

Kavitha Paranjothi is one of the leading pelvic floor physical therapist with extensive training and practice in orthopedics, and women’s and men’s pelvic floor dysfunction. Kavitha has worked in various clinical settings providing the highest quality of care for different pelvic floor dysfunctions. Some of the diagnoses she works with includes pelvic pain, rehab after gynecological, pelvic and reproductive surgeries, prolapse and bladder and bowel dysfunction. Kavitha has received training to treat men, women and children pelvic floor dysfunction. Pelvic floor rehab has become her passion. What sets her apart as a clinician is her holistic approach to patient care, including posture and breathing mechanisms that can tremendously affect pelvic floor symptoms. As part of this holistic approach, Kavitha takes the time to understand the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the patients to improve their overall function and achieve goals. Kavitha is fondly referred to as having the “healing touch“ by her patients. Outside of her career, she loves spending time doing outdoor activities with her children. She is very creative and painting and dancing are some of the things she enjoys most.
Jackelyn Turner earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Rutgers University in 2013. She also attended the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2010. She played Division III field hockey for 4 years and as a student-athlete, Jackie became interested in sports performance. Jackie is trained in Graston Technique, Kinesio Taping, and Active Release Therapy for the Upper Extremity. She is certified in Functional Movement Screen and Selective Functional Movement Assessment. She is focused on learning more advanced skills to give her patients the best individualized and hands-on care. In the future, Jackie hopes to earn her Orthopedic and Sports Specialist Certification. Jackie is still dedicated to field hockey and currently coordinates and participates in a competitive recreational field hockey league, as well as coaches a local youth team.

Rebecca Furrer completed her undergraduate degree in biology at LaSalle University in 2010. She graduated in 2013 with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Thomas Jefferson University. While a graduate student, she completed an affiliation with Strive at the Marlton location and grew to love treating patients with orthopedic and sports injuries utilizing a hands-on clinical treatment approach. She is very happy to be continuing her career at the Strive location in Delran. Rebecca is currently an American Physical Therapy Association member. In the future, she plans on expanding her clinical skills by becoming certified in McKenzie method and in other manual therapeutic techniques including soft tissue mobilization with Graston and Active Release Techniques. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and focuses on a patient centered treatment approach to enhance patient care.
