John Walker

John is the Clinical Director of Strive Physical Therapy's Moorestown office. In addition, he is the Area Director for seven of Strive’s locations in southern New Jersey. He graduated from Widener University in 2001 with a Bachelors in Biology. He then continued his academic career at Widener, receiving his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2003. John is currently licensed as a Physical Therapist in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. His professional experience includes successful treatment of post-operative and non-operative spinal disorders, post-operative and non-operative orthopedic joint disorders, workers compensation, POTS/ Dysautonomia, motor vehicle injuries, and a wide range of Sports Medicine injuries. John is a Certified Mckenzie MDT (Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy) Practitioner and has two noted publications, including chapters on thoracic spine dysfunction and post-operative proximal femur fractures. During his time at Widener University, John was awarded Academic All-America District II for lacrosse and was 2-year assistant men's lacrosse coach. In 2013, he was awarded an MBA from Temple University's Fox School of Business with an emphasis on healthcare/ health system efficiency. Originally from Northeast Philadelphia, John lives with his wife and daughter in the Cinnaminson area of Southern New Jersey.

Deborah Drzik

Debbie graduated from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science (USP) with her Master's of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree. She has extensive experience in a variety of settings and has been with Strive since 2006. Debbie is currently working as the Assistant Clinical Director of the Moorestown office. She has an interest in treating orthopedic and sport conditions which brings much balance to her approach. She is certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, the Graston Technique, and is a Certified LSVT BIG practitioner. Debbie has also been trained in performing Functional Capacity Evaluations, and she is one of few in the area to be certified in Myofascial Decompression using cups and neuromuscular re-education exercises to improve the flexibility of fascia and soft tissue. Debbie feels that the patient-therapist relationship is critical to building successful outcomes and strives to make every patient reach their goals.

Amanda Steward

Amanda completed her undergraduate education and received her Bachelor's Degree of Science in Biology from Rider University in 2011. She then returned home for graduate school, and obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2015 at Chapman University in Orange County. Amanda loves working with patients of all ages and enjoys the challenge of diverse patient cases. She enjoys collaborating with each patient to ensure specialized care in helping them meet their specific functional and personal goals. Amanda is the Director of Community Events at the Moorestown location, a role in which she enjoys increasing patient and community involvement. She is currently working towards furthering her clinical skills by becoming certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy.

Lindsey Welch

Lindsey Welch completed her Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University. She attended Quinnipiac University for undergraduate study, where she participated in Division I collegiate volleyball. Lindsey was the first full-time therapist to be hired at Strive, and has been with the company since 2008. Lindsey enjoys helping patients with various diagnoses, and has extensive training in treating disorders associated with the spine, sports, and orthopedics. She is certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy practitioner and has been trained in and is thoroughly trained in the Maitland Australian Concept. Lindsey is also the Center Coordinator of Clinical Education. She is responsible for coordinating the assignments and activities of Physical Therapy students during their clinical rotation as well as keeping the entire clinical staff up to date on evidence based research. Lindsey lives in Mt. Laurel with her husband and three children.

Brian Blatt

Brian attended Penn State University (2002-2006) where he majored in Kinesiology. He then enjoyed returning to his home city of Philadelphia to attend Drexel University for his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (2007-2010). Brian joined Strive in 2010 when there were only 7 PT's (including Mark, Erich, and Jamie) and only 1 location (Moorestown). He became the Assistant Clinical Director of the Moorestown clinic in 2013-14, before transitioning to the role of Clinical Director of the Sewell clinic in 2014-15. Brian is Certified in the Functional Movement Screen, Graston Technique, Certified Vestibular/Concussion Specialist, and a Certified McKenzie Practitioner (Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy). He also has training and continuing education in: Maitland, Mulligan, and Sahrmann. Brian enjoys mentoring DPT students from local Doctorate programs and has been a teaching assistant at University of the Sciences. In 2015-16, Brian and his wife (Jordan) traveled cross country to San Diego, CA where Brian worked at the Naval Medical Center as the Physical Therapist for the Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard Active Duty population. This trip allowed the Blatt’s to visit 10 National Parks during their road trips in 2015-2016, including the Grand Canyon, Zion, Yosemite, Sequoia, Bryce Canyon, Grand Tetons, Badlands, and Yellowstone. Brian, his wife, and cat (Sydney) own a house in South Philly and love trying new restaurants in the city. They are expecting their first child in 2018!

Albert Desiderio

Albert obtained his undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Ursinus College in 2012. While at Ursinus, Albert was a member of the men's Football and Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field teams. Competing in sports and experiencing injuries of his own is what ignited Albert to pursue a graduate degree in Physical Therapy. Albert received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Neumann University in 2017 and is currently a licensed Physical Therapist in New Jersey. He enjoys working with patients of all ages to assist with the return to a healthy and active lifestyle. In the future, Albert plans on expanding his physical therapy expertise by becoming a Sports Clinical Specialist. In his spare time, Albert enjoys spending time with his family and friends, rooting for the Philadelphia sports teams, and going to concerts. He is excited to be a part of the Strive team and the Moorestown community.

Jessica Freedman

Jessica, originally from Bucks County, PA, graduated from Temple University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She was awarded her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Thomas Jefferson University in 2018 after successful completion of 4 clinical internships and evidence based research on spinal cord injuries. She presented her findings at the 2018 Combined Sections Meeting in New Orleans, LA. While a doctoral student, Jessica completed an affiliation with Strive at the Delran location, where she treated a variety of patients with orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, and pediatric neurological disorders. In 2018, she was added to the Moorestown Strive location where she treats a wide variety of outpatient diagnosis and conditions. Jessica is licensed in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey where she qualifies for direct access evaluations. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Her future career goals include becoming certified in the McKenzie Method for treatment of spine and extremities and earning her Orthopedic Specialist Certification. She enjoys working with patients of all ages, especially pediatric cases. In her time away from work, Jessica spends her time with family and friends, traveling, and exercising. She lives in Philadelphia and loves exploring the city.

Nazee Zahedi-Eells

Nazee went to Drexel University and obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology & Psychology. She then did a brief stint in research, but decided that she preferred to work with people and not data. She found physical therapy, fell in love, and got her DPT from Arcadia University. After graduating, Nazee obtained her LSVT Big certificate and is also licensed as a spin instructor, which she teaches on the weekends. Nazee loves the beach, reading, bad comedies, bad horror movies, bad movies in general, and hanging out with friends.

Chealsea Pinsonneault

Chelsea completed her undergraduate degree in Applied Exercise Science at the University of New England in 2013 and continued to complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016. After obtaining her degree, she had the opportunity to work in multiple facilities in rural Mississippi and Alabama where she treated patients with a wide variety of orthopedic and neurological diagnoses in the acute care, skilled nursing, and outpatient settings. By treating this diverse patient population, Chelsea has developed a treatment approach rooted in patient-centered care in order to improve quality of life and meet individualized goals. Chelsea recently relocated to New Jersey with her husband and is very happy to be continuing her career here at Strive. She plans on expanding her physical therapy expertise by pursuing a certification in LSVT BIG and the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT).

Michelle Wood

Michelle obtained her BA in psychology from Arcadia University in Glenside, PA in 2006. During her time there she was a member of the volleyball and swim teams. She continued her education at Arcadia and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree in 2010. Michelle has since continued her education, receiving her board certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, which she uses to help mentor fellow clinicians and Doctorate of Physical Therapy students. Michelle also holds the responsibility of Center Coordinator of Clinical Education, working with universities throughout the country in helping to develop future clinicians. She has also worked with Drexel and Arcadia Universities as faculty in their DPT programs. Michelle regards the education of students, fellow clinicians, and her patients very highly. In the future she will complete her certification in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy as well as continuing to complete her education in orthopedic and manual therapy. Michelle resides in Marlton with her husband, who is also a PT, and their young son.

Mallory Johnston

Originally from Delaware, Mallory completed her undergraduate degree in Biomechanics and Motor Control at the University of Delaware in 2014. While an undergraduate student she studied abroad in Italy, analyzing accessibility for those with mobility impairments. This helped her obtain a minor in Disabilities Studies. Mallory then received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of the Sciences in 2017. As part of her graduate studies, Mallory completed a clinical rotation in the neurologic and trauma intensive care units at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. This experience heightened her interest providing services to those recovering from traumatic injuries and orthopedic surgeries. She also conducted a research study investigating the effects of an exercise program on strength, balance, and mobility in the older adult population. The study was published by the Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation open access journal. Mallory is currently a licensed Physical Therapist in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and advocating for a healthy lifestyle. She enjoys spending time with friends, biking, hiking, and generally staying active.
