Dr. Mike Klejmont is a dedicated provider who gives exceptional care to patients of all ages, with a focus on musculoskeletal and neuromuscular rehabilitation. Mike utilizes manual therapy to promote healing, integrative therapy, and virtual reality training. Mike’s mix of modern medical techniques and his devoted personal care make him the standard for all doctors to follow. After graduating from Rutgers University, Mike went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the Rutgers School of Health Related Professions. He is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and Certified Kinesio Tape Practitioner. Mike is also a Certified Sports Performance Coach through USA Weightlifting and has plentiful experience with musculoskeletal and neuromuscular rehabilitation.

Dr. Heather LaManno is a sought-after expert in all areas of patient care, who is actively involved in evidence-based practice and research. Heather excels at treating both neurological and orthopedic patients of all ages and is one of the top 1% of all practitioners in the state who has achieved both a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and Board-Certified Specialist distinction in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. Heather's top priority is always the care for her patients. She approaches their therapy with compassion and understanding, making their comfort and recovery her top goal. Having graduated from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, Heather established extensive experience in both orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation settings. Most recently, in the ”Rehabilitation of the Hand and Upper Extremity” textbook, Dr. LaManno co-authored a chapter called “The Use of Yoga Therapy in Hand and Upper Quarter Rehabilitation.”

Dr. Gary Struble, one of the founding members of our clinical team, is well-respected across the entire North Jersey area as an exemplary spinal and orthopedic specialist. He has helped thousands of patients return to health and achieve their goals over his past 15 years with the organization. Gary has been recognized by The McKenzie Institute International as a Specialist in Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment of Spine Injuries and is further recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association as a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist . His specialist certifications in both Orthopedics and Spinal treatment distinguish him as part of the most highly credentialed 1% of all providers in the nation. As a former high school and collegiate athlete himself, Gary has a special interest in working with athletes of all ages and helping them get back in the game. He is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of both the Rutgers School of Health Related Professions and Kean University.
Dr. Chris Rago brings multifaceted physical therapy expertise to each patient. He is sought after for his extensive knowledge and passion in both orthopedic and sports physical therapy. Dr. Rago’s approach to patient care aligns with NJCPT’s philosophy because he delves into understanding each of his patients needs to provide individualized treatment plans to create optimal outcomes. Chris graduated from Quinnipiac University with a Bachelor’s in Health Sciences before continuing on to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Quinnipiac. There, he was selected as the graduate assistant for the motion analysis lab, where he furthered his knowledge of the biomechanical model and its application to physical therapy. Specifically, Chris researched the effects of fatigue on lower extremity biomechanical control in athletes and was chosen to present his research at four nationally recognized conferences, including a trip to San Diego to present at American College of Sports Medicine.

Nick is extremely passionate about providing the same care and compassion to every patient as he would to his own family. He brings a broad spectrum of knowledge with the latest research in order to individualize a treatment plan to every patient. His specific interests in orthopedic and sports physical therapy derived from his past experiences as an athlete. Nick graduated from Duquesne University with Bachelor degrees in both Biology and Health Sciences before continuing on to earn his Doctorate of Physical therapy. While completing his undergraduate degrees at Duquesne, Nick participated in the Division 1 Men's soccer team as a 3-year starter and 1-year caption. He furthered his expertise in sports physical therapy after spending 3 months with nationally recognized orthopedic surgeons at Cincinnati Orthopedic and Sports Medicine clinics in Cincinnati.

Dr. Amanda Montalvo uses her knowledge of orthopedics and neurology to get her patients back to doing what they love. Amanda is particularly fascinated by the human brain, and has a special interest in stroke rehabilitation and helping people who are living with Parkinson’s disease. Dr. Montalvo prides herself on creatively offering each patient the fastest and most sustainable route toward recovery. She is currently a Certified Performance Enhancement Specialist and certified in the Functional Movement Screen. Amanda earned her BSc in Movement Science from the University of Michigan, and went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University. Dr. Montalvo was an instrumental part of a three-year clinical research project called “Protocol for Clinical Use of Mental Imagery to Improve Gait Post-Stroke,” to help people incorporate positive visualization and mental imagery to improve their walking abilities after strokes.

Dr. Femi Betiku is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a dual focus in orthopedic and sports physical therapy. He is passionate about both alleviating every patient’s symptoms and eradicating the underlying cause. Each patient is treated with compassion and understanding as Femi guides them through every step of the therapy process. He utilizes targeted manual therapy techniques and neuromuscular re-education to optimize success, so his patients can return to doing what they love. Femi completed his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at Rutgers University and went on to earn his Doctorate from New York University. Through his experiences, Dr. Betiku has developed a deep passion for treating the most complex of musculoskeletal cases. He is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist, as well as a Pilates Method Alliance certified Pilates teacher with an emphasis in rehabilitative Pilates.

Dr. Melanie Eskin is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a dual focus in sports and orthopedic physical therapy. She is a firm believer in the power of movement and its contribution to healing! Melanie successfully treats patients with orthopedic, sports, and neuromuscular conditions. Her success has been built on her years of experience using an individualized approach which draws from her personal athletic background, her dedicated work ethic, and meticulous patient examinations. Her passion for sports and orthopedics has led her to become certified in Gray Cook’s Functional Movement Screen as well as pursue her specialty in vestibular rehabilitation, double board certification in sports and orthopedic physical therapy, and various manual therapy certifications.
Dr. Katrina Thoene has an extensive foundation that has allowed her to bring a presence of clinical brilliance to her practice. As a graduate of Ithaca College, she earned the reputation of breaking barriers in both academics and athletics with high honors of Summa Cum Laude as well as being selected for the prestigious honor of the NY Omicron Athlete Honor Society, Chi Alpha Sigma. To provide her patients with a meticulous examination and treatment experience, she uses the most advanced manual therapy approach such as the Movement System Impairment Syndromes to create the most optimal outcomes for all of her patients. With her extensive experience in rehabilitative medicine, Kate has become an expert in successfully treating patients with all orthopedic and neuromuscular dysfunctions.
Dr. Greg Zaharioudakis is a highly regarded doctor of physical therapy who specializes in treating patients with all orthopedic conditions. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Seton Hall University. Additionally, Greg has a Bachelor’s of Exercise Science from Rutgers University. His passion for working with musculoskeletal injuries is driven by his life-long love for sports and his vast personal experience with sustaining injuries as a competitive basketball player. His own experiences allow Greg to have a unique insight and shared reality with patients enabling him to provide unparalleled individualized care to all athletes and orthopedic patients. Greg also possesses a strong belief in the power of knowledge. During his doctoral studies, he conducted a year-long research study while at Seton Hall, titled, “The Effects of Auditory Stimulation on Postural Sway and Muscle Activity in Healthy Adults.” His research determined different frequencies of a sound result in changes in lower extremity muscle activity.
