Tammy McHugh

Dr. Tammy McHugh has more than a decade of orthopedic physical therapy experience and is well-known for her mastery of all orthopedic conditions. Pursuing excellence is very important to Tammy, and she has earned her Board Certified in Geriatric Physical Therapy. Tammy has also received her Senior Fitness Specialist certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and is a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner. Patients of all ages and conditions benefit from Dr. McHugh’s knowledge and skill. Tammy began her career at Quinnipiac University, graduating with her degree in Physical Therapy. She later graduated from A.T. Still University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She has experienced both inpatient and outpatient realms at a hospital, and after trying her hands – on all sides of the profession, she returned to her love of outpatient work at WOPT. Along with her incredible clinical expertise, Tammy is also amicable, warm, and a fantastic listener; patients always feel at ease throughout their therapy sessions with her.

Mariah Liberty

Dr. Mariah Liberty brings her passion and talent for treating a variety of orthopedic conditions to the team at WOPT. Her focus on understanding each patient’s individual needs helps her create the best treatment plan to achieve their goals. Mariah enjoys educating her patients about the mechanics of the body to help them improve their everyday life. She enjoys working with people of all ages and conditions and establishing an evidence-based treatment plan to fit her patient’s needs. ​ Mariah earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from MCPHS University in Worcester, MA after receiving her undergraduate degree in Health Science with a minor in Psychology at Lincoln University in Pennsylvania. During this time she also played soccer and softball at the Division II level. Mariah is very passionate about athletics and has a deep understanding of returning to sport after an injury. Mariah is Board Prepared in Orthopedics and is pursuing her orthopedic specialist certification.

Joanna Scaglione

Dr. Scaglione is highly skilled in treating patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiopulmonary conditions. Her proficiency and focus on creating individualized programs integrated with her passion for manual therapy and current evidence-based techniques produce results for each of her patients. A lifelong learner, she is actively pursuing her next educational goal for board certifications in orthopedics and pediatric physical therapy. ​ ​After completing her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences from Quinnipiac University, Joanna went on to earn her doctorate in Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University’s accelerated PT program in Hamden, CT. During her doctoral studies, Joanna studied the effects of using an iPhone virtual running App on aerobic capacity. This experience allowed her to use current technology to influence, and ultimately improve, the exercise habits of participants, enhancing their overall health and well-being.

Nicholas Mangone

Dr. Mangone brings his talent for working with patients of all ages with various orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions to the team. He enjoys staying up to date with the most recent evidence-based treatment strategies to create individualized treatment plans ensuring that his patients can return to their favorite activities. Dr. Mangone’s passion for the areas of orthopedics and sports medicine has inspired him to pursue his board certifications in these areas. ​ Nick earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University’s accelerated PT program in Boston, MA. While attending Northeastern, he traveled to Ecuador with a group of his peers to educate caregivers of children with disabilities at two separate orphanages. On his trip, he was able to focus on the importance of providing culturally competent care, finding great value in learning about various cultures and traditions to help his patients.

Andrew Reynolds

Dr. Reynolds has a passion for orthopedics and sports physical therapy. He is devoted to his craft and takes pride in creating individualized treatment plans that are comprehensive and directed towards patient goals. Andrew is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and will soon be pursuing his Orthopedic Specialist Certification as well as several Manual Therapy Certifications. Andrew attended Misericordia University, where he graduated from the accelerated Doctor of Physical Therapy program and completed his undergraduate degree obtaining a Bachelor’s of Science in Healthcare Management. Andrew consistently strives to keep up with the most current research to improve patient outcomes. He was recently invited to present his systematic review of randomized controlled trials comparing the effectiveness of using various manual therapy techniques to decrease neck pain at the American Physical Therapy Association’s Combined Sections Meeting 2018 in New Orleans.

Caitlin Peltyszyn

With a passion for clinical excellence, Dr. Caitlin Peltyszyn provides each of her patients with the best that rehabilitative medicine has to offer. Using a plethora of advanced manual techniques, such as the Graston Technique, Cait has dedicated her practice to removing barriers of physical limitations for all patient populations. By providing each patient with a comprehensive rehabilitative experience, she has been able to ensure that they can enjoy their lives without limits. Dr. Peltyszyn is recognized as an expert in her field, having earned the dual distinction of a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedics and Doctor of Physical Therapy. Dr. Peltyszyn’s journey to becoming a movement and manual therapy expert was realized during her time at the prestigious University of Delaware, where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. While there, she completed a meticulous study of the shoulder and received her Master of Science in Anatomy and Clinical Health Science. Her profound knowledge of the human anatomy was harnessed during her time at Rutgers University, where she received her B.S. in Exercise Science and Sports Studies and graduated Summa Cum Laude.
