B.S. BiologyUAB 2009 Doctorate of Physical Therapy UAB 2012 Certified Dry Needling Practitioner Clinical Area of Interest: Manual Therapy Professional Associations: American Physical Therapy Association Personal Interests: Family: Wife- Libby, Son- Thomas Sports- Ultimate frisbee, disc golf, running, biking, kayaking, hockey Why I Became a Physical Therapist: I became a physical therapist to combine my interest in biology and anatomy and my passion for living an active lifestyle with my desire to help others. It is very rewarding to see people progress, whether it is somebody who has dealt with pain chronically who is now able to sleep through the night and not deal with constant pain, or somebody who has had to undergo orthopedic surgery and has returned to playing sports. I like to learn what is important to patients and implement a combination of hands on treatment and exercise to achieve their goals and Therapy South creates an environment to do so.
