Abigail Morales

imgAbigail Morales

Abigail has been practicing physical therapy since 1999, with almost 20 years of clinical experience. She earned her PT degree from Emilio Aguinaldo College in the Philippines, which was one of the four pioneering schools for physical therapy at the time. Abigail grew up in the city of Manila and moved to New York City in 2001. Abigail initially chose to go into physical therapy because she believed it would be a good prerequisite for medical school. But then she became much more interested in the field during her internship years and fell in love with the profession soon thereafter. She has a multitude of experience in many settings including working for an orthopedic surgeon. Abigail is a mom to two children- her 12 year old son Andres, and her 8 year old daughter Gabriela. Her children are her pride and joy and are both avid chess players. Her husband, Rafael, is also a physical therapist. Abigail has many hobbies including reading novels, watching sports (she is a volleyball player and plays table tennis), attending broadway shows, going to museums, and enjoying events such as Book Con, NY Comic Con, and the Big Chocolate Show. She guiltily admits that she has an addiction to chocolate. Two of her favorite eateries are Mizumi and Foughnuts, right here in Great Neck! Abigail specializes in total hip/knee replacements, knee ACL injury/surgery, shoulder pain, low back pain & sciatica, TMJ dysfunction, Bell's palsy, to name a few.
