PHYSICAL THERAPIST BIO

Teri Tidwell is a physical therapist at Renue Physical Therapy - Midland. She has been practicing physical therapy since 1993 upon her graduation from Wayne State University. Teri moved to mid-Michigan from the Port Huron area in 2020. Her clinical experience is diverse, treating neurological disorders, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, athletic/sports injuries, orthopedic conditions, and spinal disorders. She also has extensive experience working with pediatrics of all kinds, babies included. Teri’s specialties include using muscle energy techniques learned through Great Lakes Seminars Education. She is RockTape certified with taping, flossing, cupping, and using their IASTM devices. Teri also holds a consulting Naturopathic degree from Clayton College. Naturopathic treatments focus on prevention and healing without drugs or surgery when possible, and general health enhancement.

Stephanie Sebald

Stephanie Sebald is an occupational therapist at Renue Physical Therapy in Midland and at the Renue clinic inside Primrose Retirement Community. Stephanie has been practicing occupational therapy since 2020 upon her graduation from Saginaw Valley State University. Stephanie’s field work includes experience in skilled nursing, memory care, outpatient neuro and in an assisted breathing unit. She enjoys helping her patients find new ways to complete their every day tasks, reintegrate into the community and do the things they need and love to do. Stephanie resides in Midland with her husband. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering, playing with her dogs, exercising and spending time with family.

Alicia Heading

Dr. Alicia Heading is the managing partner at Renue - Midland and the Renue Physical Therapy clinics inside Primrose Retirement Community and Greater Midland Community Center. Alicia has been treating patients in the Mid-Michigan region since 2007. She received her doctorate in physical therapy and undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University. Alicia holds a Certification in Applied Functional Science and uses an integrative treatment model that combines functional movement assessment, evidenced-based practice, and manual treatment to provide the best standard of care and achieve optimal outcomes for her patients. Alicia has additional training in dry needling techniques and has received Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) certification to assess and treat undesirable movement patterns affecting golf swing mechanics. Her focus is on orthopedic injury/treatment, sports injury prevention and rehabilitation, post-surgical rehabilitation and neurologic disorders.

Kayla Sahr

Dr. Kayla Sahr is a physical therapist with a focus on women’s and pelvic health. In her last year of schooling at Grand Valley State University, Kayla developed a passion for pelvic health physical therapy and has since then attended multiple specialty courses where she has learned and developed her skills with experts in the field, including a two month internship. Kayla is trained to treat men, women, and children and has experience with diagnoses including: bowel and bladder dysfunction, pelvic pain, pain with intercourse, tailbone or low back pain, pelvic organ prolapse, pregnancy related pelvic girdle pain, as well as any postpartum dysfunction including diastasis recti or scar tissue management. Kayla’s true passion is getting to know her patients throughout their journey of rehabilitation and assisting them to return to their desired level of function. In her free time, Kayla enjoys staying active through regular physical activity and spending time with family and friends.
