PHYSICAL THERAPIST BIO
Matt Penney, PT, DPT, ATC, is the owner of Sports Rehabilitation Unlimited LLC. He is a licensed physical therapist and athletic trainer in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Tufts University, a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Columbia University, and a Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University. Matt has worked in the realm of sports physical therapy and sports medicine for his entire career as a physical therapist. He has worked with recreational/competitive aging and middle-aged, semi-professional, collegiate, high school, adolescent and youth athletes to rehabilitate their injuries and return them safely to their field/court/rink etc. Matt is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA), American Association of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (AAOMPT) and the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).

Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees from Boston University. She is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is also certified in Blood Flow Restriction Training through Smart Tools. She also has attended multiple continuing education courses for manual therapy techniques and sports medicine. Amanda is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and APTA of Massachusetts and participates in the Manual and Shoulder Special Interest Groups. She has experience working with patients of all ages and activity levels, including but not limited to sports-, work-, and MVA- related injuries, joint replacements, pre- and post- surgery, pre- and post-natal individuals, and those with multiple complex conditions. Amanda is passionate about working with patients to maximize their functional mobility and improve their athletic performance.
