lizabeth D'Annunzio Shah is a board certified orthopedic specialist and certified in manual therapy from the University of St. Augustine. She honed her skills in a bustling outpatient practice specializing in both orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation. She works with patients of all ages and abilities including recreational athletes, expectant mothers and performing artists. She has a special interest in women's pelvic floor health in addition to vestibular and balance disorders.

Valerie Harris

Dr. Harris has been practicing physical therapy for over 30 years. She works with patients across the lifespan from pediatrics to geriatrics, treating diverse musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions. Her specialty is foot and ankle dysfunction, lower back and neck pain, thoracic and rib dysfunction, and hip pain. Dr. Harris evaluates the entire individual and looks for the primary driver and compensations that may be the cause or result of the patient's pain and/or dysfunction. By addressing faulty movement patterns and postural habits she is able to change the imminent problem and prevent episodes of pain and dysfunction that may occur in the future.

Founder and Principal of Thrive Integrated Physical Therapy, Tamar Amitay is a highly regarded physical therapist recognized within the New York City medical community as a remarkable clinician, diagnostician and healer. Graduating in 1986 with academic honors from New York University she has over 28 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation and outpatient private practice and working at NYU Rusk Institute, JFK Medical Center and Plus One Physical Therapy. Tamar’s post graduate coursework is focused on manual therapy, biomechanical analysis, differential diagnosis and injury prevention. She holds post graduate manual therapy certificates from the Hospital for Special Surgery, the Institute of Physical Art, Diane Lee and LJ Lee’s Discover Physio Series, Kinetic Control, and the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. Tamar is currently pursuing an advanced manual certification from the North American Institute of Orthopedic and Manual Therapy ( NAIOMT).

Donny’s clinical experience involves working with patients with orthopedic and neurological dysfunctions. He utilizes a biomechanical assessment along with functional movement analysis to uncover faulty movement patterns in order to determine the root-cause of a client’s symptoms. His treatment approach incorporates manual therapy techniques and neuromuscular re-education to retrain areas of injury to restore optimal health and function to each client. For individuals with neurological conditions, his approach centers around the International Classification of Functioning, Disability, and Health (ICF) model. He identifies primary body areas of impairment that directly impacts activity limitations and participation that can be addressed with specific therapeutic interventions to maximize independence with daily activities.

Duane Grell

Dr. Duane Grell received his Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University, and received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Touro College, in New York City. Duane’s treatment approach is centered around driver assessment and movement analysis, addressing any underlying movement dysfunctions or arthrokinematic issues that may be causing the musculoskeletal dysfunction. Duane is currently pursuing his Fellowship in Manual Physical Therapy, as a way of continuously advancing his clinical skillset. When working with clients with neurological impairments, Duane follows an ICF (International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health) based approach, identifying and addressing the specific body function or movement that is causing the activity and participation limitations.
